Description

So over the holiday break (got a four-day weekend!), I did a sketch of the void wyrm creature. And then it uh. I went a little overboard and made an additional in-medias-res comic of things getting cut open and punched in the face. Whoops.

Read these page-by-page, top to bottom and left to right. I threw in pink divider lines--I didn't really want to spam DA a bunch, so I uploaded everything at the same time!

ALSO QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WHO READ COMICS/PICTURE DESCRIPTIONS: I have set up a website, and am beginning work inking pages! I'm throwing this question everywhere so I'll probably even make a journal about it, but would you prefer each page to be uploaded one at a time, when they're completed? Or would you prefer the pages to be uploaded in bulk, chapter at a time? I was originally going to go with the latter, then realized vomiting everything out at the same time might get a bit intense, and would also mean there would be at least a month-two month wait between comics. But really I'd prefer to hear what you think!

I vote classic online, page at a time. While as a reader, I find reading a page at a time is obnoxious if I get really into a comic, people don't actually check every page. They check every so often and get whatever happens to be up at this time. But this also means that you have a valid reason to advertise for your comic more and more and more chances to hook people with cliffhangers.

Once or twice a week is very common. The most popular online web comics upload once per day, but I think that's outrageous. I also think every other week would be very reasonable. But to set all these boundaries on yourself so early on might be a bit silly. Why don't you let things pan out and upload how you feel you'd like to upload, then work your way into a regular upload pattern that fits you? You are, afterall the one most affected by such schedules.

Webcomic plugin on wordpress with inkblot theme has been the best in my experience, but I still don't know. My friend recommended ruby on rails.
