CAR - Viledoze

So while working on sketches for pages, I realize I had never drawn a full-sized shot of this character that appears. So I did!

Dragons in the CAR universe are an endangered, dying breed. Heroic hunting in the second age dwindled their numbers significantly, which the height of murdering dragons for their parts happened to coincide with a dangerous series of diseases that caused sickness, death, and sterility. In the third age, the empire declared dragons to be "protected," banned hunting upon them, and sanctioned safe areas for dens and nests.

Viledoze was one of the dragons made sterile. Incapable of producing a brood of his own, some say he went relatively 'mad.' He left the safe areas temporarily and caused intermittent havoc upon the countrysides, only to return with that of a young elven girl named Elvi. No one knows where he got her from--if he killed the family, found her as an orphan or what--but it seemed to sate his need for a family. He shortly left the parks after obtaining her, seeing as, well, the government didn't think it was a very good idea to keep a little girl in essentially a den of dragons.

He absolutely ADORES her, doting upon her as any diligent father would. And despite him being decorated in skulls of what could very well be her kin, she adores him in turn. Though Viledoze himself has been rendered relatively nonthreatening in fatherhood, any who threaten his daughter will find themselves quickly getting a delicious taste of his acidic breath weapon.

And yes, he lets her paint designs on him. He'll go into battle covered in smiley faces and hearts. He don't give a fuck.
